Billy Strings! What a phenomenal guitarist. Love Tedeschi Trucks Band as well, not to mention the String Cheese Incident! Larry Keel is also a wizard on guitar.

Wow! I'd heard of her but I'd never listened to her music. Appreciate the turn on and enjoy the show. I'll be adding her to the rotation on Pandora.

We got a chance to go see Joe Bonamassa way back in 2019 at Red Rocks. Holy cow that was an awesome show at a one of a kind venue. I consider his guitar solo in "Reconsider Baby" to be one for the ages. If you haven't heard that song it's on his "Had to Cry Today" LP. My wife and I both love JB.

Our music taste is wide and open. Last show we saw was Lucinda Williams at Austin City Limits just a few weeks back. Ole' gal is coming back from a stroke but once she got on stage her voice was just as solid as ever. Another really great venue. Every seat is so close. I like everything from Ray Wylie Hubbard to Tool, George Jones to Rage against the Machine. Took the grandson to see Candlebox & 3 Doors down last fall. Not much I don't like when it come to music.

JH is a legend for sure. But how about some way. Back OG let’s try on some JLH.
Touche' Then we start talking bout that cat that sold his soul to you know who...

I am all over the place with music and usually lean toward harder stuff but these guys been in my rotation lately. Maybe some gray hairs are to blame?

Joe Bonamassa gets played a lot here. We've seen Joe seven or eight times, last time just this past November.

Mrs Okie has tasked me with getting her to Red Rocks to see Joe perform there. We have all of his dvd from that venue. The logistics of that trip, however, are not easy.

Agree. I’m all over the map too. Just no modern pop.

I was wondering how far this thread was going to expand.
When you talk about guitarists, don't forget David Gilmour. Pink Floyd to the uninformed.
I got Jackson Brown as one of my Pandora stations. They toss in some Eagles , Bob Segar , Dave Mason, etc.
Bit of annoying trivia, Seattle rock stations rarely played Bob Segar when I lived there (1984-2001)

Have never heard of Samantha Fish. Used to love blues, but as I got older I find myself putting on more and more elevator electronica in the background 🤣

Saw the tour list the OP posted and it included Kenny Wayne Shepherd and forgot how much I loved him back in the day so gave her a listen.

Solid artist. Might institute a 90% blues/rock policy in the smoke shed this summer.

Now that’s very good. And then Clapton at the end is Legend. Clapton is a rock legend but he is a blues legend as well. He played with all the greats.

Clapton's home was the blues. He began with John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers ( and btw, Mayall should be in the Rock Hall of Fame ) . He left the Yardbirds because they went pop and he wanted to play blues.

After reinventing himself several times in the 80's and 90's, he returned to blues.

Bad Company's Paul Rodgers shows up occasionally with blues/rock acts. This is from about 10 years ago, at the Beacon Theater in NYC, with Joe Bonamassa doing a Free song. He's a great vocalist.
