Hey all, was at the store today and these caught my eye! Not sure if they are good or not, but had to try. Anyone had them?

Can't get them in California. We still remember our trip to Wisconsin......Bought our first cheese curds at a gas station. Still remember the squeak.

We bought a bunch of cheese on this one farm and were having it shipped home. This was after the "Happy Cows" commercials where the Wisconsin cows start walking to California...... The young gal said; "Your from California and your buying Wisconsin cheese". We still laugh..........the power of commercials..............

I would try that is a second. I love cheese curds and kicked up Cajun style - yup.

me love curds!!!! Me and the Mrs C. Have been visiting the Tillamook factory for over 31 years….back 30 years ago they would bring them out sill warm in a simple baggie with a twist tie…..I mean those were special! Today the factory has exploded and now they are all made off sight in commercial packaging……but still tasty!

Yup. My grandparents lived there, and now my parents still do.
When I was a kid, they had a tour that would take you right thru the factory from beginning to end. You could walk past all the vats and fermation tanks while the machinery was cutting and stirring the curds. (Hopefully no one sneezed in the direction of the vat.) Now that's all closed off to the public, behind glass windows.

I keep forgetting what a wonderful state I live in. Cheese curds are sold most everywhere. I need to take another family trip and hit up some makers.
Heck, this place is an easy drive away for multiple options.

Yancey's Fancy. Or River Rat are my go to for curds. Buffalo, cheddar, ranch.
Cold smoked really kicks up the flavor too.

Those look great Justin, and I bet would make a fantastic poutine.

Chris

Can get Great Lakes, Colosse and River Rat cheese and curds in almost every local store and gas station....never developed a liking for curds.
