Did a few cooks on it so far and it's working good. Did my first brisket yesterday.

Interesting kettle mod! And nice looking brisket!

Two Weber kettles stacked, how did you attached the two together? And do I see a brass drain/probe plug on the lower kettle?
 
I have the perfect candidate for this mod,an early 70's kettle that rotted out where the leg sockets meet it.It's milk chocolate colored and will look like a Frankenkettle!
