hi sorry for asking so many questions,i just wanted to know if i put warm or cold water in the pan.thanks 2 everyone who has helped.thanks.

Shouldn't matter, I've never noticed what temp my water is but psychologically, probably used cold water ...

You would want to put hot water in. If you put cold water in, it will cool the temp in the smoker that much more, and will take some time to get the temps of the smoker up. I always use hot water from the tap.
Andy.

Ditto. To the above.

I have used both. If you want to keep the temperature, use warm water if the fire is running hot use cold.
