Do I cook a wagyu tri-tip any different than a regular tri-tip? It's a long story how we got it, it was a thank you gift. I'm doing this on Sunday & I use an offset barrel smoker. Usually cook indirect.
 
Same.... reverse sear. Smoke until 125º, pull and rest while grill gets up to temp then sear on high for 3 min per side. I look for 135º in the thickest part then rest for 10-15 min before slicing.
