Last year , I think it was, I decided to build a horiz. offset outta a pile of junk I had at work

and a short time later I converted it to R/F ..  It has worked out great.  Just right for the

wife and myself.

Here lately I been reading the forum posts about BACON..   I got the cravin' flung on me.

I used another pile to build a 16x16x32 inch verticle attatchment .  I did a flue-ectomy

on the left side of the smoker for the unused guilotine dampener and transplanted it on the top.  I am gonna TRY to post some pics.

I am older than dirt and am an old school machinist/ welder and enjoy this kinda thing..

You'll love the vert. end for warming and doing lower temp. foods.

Have fun and,
Thanx Oldschool.   I am mainly interested in useing it for hanging bacon and cold smoking cheese and STUFF..  [for lack of more technical terms]

I noticed a cover on yer firebox. I guess it is for grilling?  if so how is it working?  Reason is because a grill is/was next on my list. . Looks like

U gut a few skills also.. Nice job.   I enjoy the ''beat the system'' game.  [cheap].. [I mean conservative]..  I have nothing invested so far as

materials go.  takes a while but I am in no hurry. Just labor..  I got just enough teeth left to LOVE jerky and so it tipped me over the edge in

deciding on the vert. attch.     again, looks like U done good.  Hemi  [Buff.  Big Ugly Fat F#$%^R ]
