Valentines Weekend - Whats on the menu?

Curious what folks have on the menu for SUnday night, and even Saturday?

Being in the Dog Days of winter now, with no football, the NCAA b-ball tournament a month away, and MLB spring training not yet hear, I may have to catch up on some naps with no sports to watch on tv.

Saturday I am making a run to RD, and picking up some things for the freezer(ribs, butts, crab, steak). Probably some of those ribs will go on the WSM(cant go a week without em') for supper Saturday.

Sunday planning on doing a surf and turf for my Valentines Day menu, some snow crab legs, and maybe a couple steaks on the smoker.

What are others doing for their Valentine?

Tomorrow night I will start a brisket for Saturday and my daughter's coronation dance (she plans on having some friends over and asked if I would do that for them).

For Sunday, I'm taking the wife for a fine evening of hammering crab at Joe's Crab Shack!

Best part is, "Professor Q" will be at it again only this time teaching her how to do it in case she ends up with a guy with no skills.

Im starting my daughter out young, heres my assistant pit master helping me inject butts.

Saturday im having a small get together, ill be smoking up some tri tip, a couple racks of baby backs, a fatty and some bacon wrapped shrimp. I think i might try to smoke some corn on the cob also.

Saturday a couple racks of BB Ribs. Sunday it is off to the hockey rink.

Saturday my cousin is coming down and we are making Italian, Polish, and Summer sausages, possibly slicing up some jerky meat as well. Finishing up our deer processing for the year. Prolly throw somethin into the smoker, not sure what yet though. Sunday the wife and I with another couple are going out for Sushi. Yeah, I like that.

Sunday the boys are coming over and I am smoking a butt for pulled pork, country ribs and chicken. Going to be a long day smoking, but a good day.

What ever you want sucka. I think john and trisha are coming over and maybe scott and jessica and im going to invite joey and jamie again and maybe bj and melissa. And you know Korey will be there with one or more of his free loadin friends and probably my parents, so we will need plenty of food. Ill call you later.

Arroz con pollo (chicken with rice), pintos with NM green chiles.

I'm thinking a couple of rib-eyes on the Weber. Baked potatoes, a veggie (have to have something green, it's the rule) and maybe I'll do pie for desert. And a nice bottle of wine.

Probably on Saturday. Seems that each Sunday, we're all over the place.

No smoking for me this weekend. After 2 smokes in the past 2 weeks, I am taking a break for a week.

Going out Saturday with another couple for some steaks and booze at Flemings since racing is on Sunday.

Chili and nachos for the 500 on Sunday and nursing my beef/alcohol hangover.

sounds like a good dinner, especially the ribeyes.

I am considering pushing Valentines meal to Saturday as well. Ill enjoy it more, and still have all Sunday to smoke.
