Just got back from one of the local Cashew nut factories. Cashews and Rubber are the two big exports here and there ar cashew and rubber farms all over. It was a interesting trip to say the least. This one was more so a shop vs a factory but they had a lady there shelling the nuts. Cashews have a skin on the nut that will make you sick and has to be steamed first to remove..They had them in 20 diff flavors. They also had some pork skins, dried durian, and dried shredded pork made into a dry sausage with the texture of a cookie. Was actually pretty good. They use the husk that the nut comes out of and make what they call apple juice from it. They serve it cold with soda water and is alot like apple juice to me..Very good..heres the pics




























This is a version of pork skins..I think is just the meat very thin and very crispy but if you like pork skins you would like this..
