Vacation in Thailand!!!!Part 1 !!!!!!!!

Finally getting some days off...The big project that Ive been working on in Singapore is over so I got a chance to get some days off. Decided to fly down to Phuket thailand for 9 days before flying back to the states. Been here 5 days and still have 4 more to go. Here are some pictures...If you ever get a chance you should come visit this part of Thailand

Very cool pics. I would never come home from someplace that beautiful. Isn't that right in the heart of the area that was hit by the tsunami? Looks to have recovered nicely.

Thats a real nice vacation and thanks for the tour. I like the meat on a stick it was probably that monkey. I also really liked the pic of the VW Van and the way they had it fixed up. I have been to Bangkok but it has been awhile back. Did you get to see all of the GOLD statues. Great job...

Your correct, this was one of the herd hit areas by the Tsunami. To be honest you cant tell. Our guide on the snorkelig trip showed us some areas and was telling us how bad it was...Recovered now

Our resort is out of the main town and is very very quite and peaceful. there is only one main road and i no where near the rooms...Soooooo quite

Last night we went and checked out the night life....Holly cow!!!!!!!! Anyone know what a Thai Girl Ping Pong show is???? I did not go but there were 50 people out on the street trying to get people to go...Im not so brave so will leave that one alone.....Went to a bar with live band that was real good, was playing all Rock and Roll (Eagles, Metallica, Guns and Roses etc.)....Heres the pics..........................
