Hello Everyone,

Just joined the forum and wanted to say hello all and tell a little about myself. I live in Pleasant Valley NY and am  65 years old and happily retired. Love cooking, especially grilling and smoking. I'm a little newer to smoking but have done a bit in the past with charcoal smokers and have recently purchased a Masterbuilt electric smokehouse. Only used it once so far, but have a rack of ribs rubbed and resting in the fridge to put on tomorrow. I'll be using the 3-2-1 recepie I read about on this site. Sounds great and I can't wait to start smokin. I'll let you all know how they came out, although, I have a feeling they are going to be the best I've ever done. I've done some beef jerky on the Master built and was very happy with the results. Looking forward to getting to know some new folks and to learn some new and great smoking tips. Nice to be here. My name is John, good to meet you.
