that should be noted - bleach is very hard on stainless steel.

I never use any sort of bleach solution on any of my stainless brewing parts - it diminishes their lifespan.

I'd use soapy water and elbow grease to remove the mold, that and running the wattburner as hot as you can get it for awhile.
 
I worked in a Cannery many moons ago. We cleaned the oak barrels and all the stainless stuff with household ammonia, then put it in a shed with a pail of burning sulphur which killed off anything that the ammonia left behind. It was Then Power washed with soapy water. Then well rinsed.

Where on earth you'd find yellow rock sulphur now a days I have no idea. We used to have it in abundance because the ore cars used to travel thru our town.
