has anyone ever made a table/cart for their UDS, something like people will do with a egg if so lets see what you got.

I am interested to see this as well. I have a guy at work welding up a dolly for my UDS but a cart/table combo would be nice.

i have in my head what i want it to look like, i guess the main question is will the drum get too hot for the wood frame, and if so what to use for some type of heat shield

I would like something similar to the weber performer series carts. A UDS should fit right where the 22" grill goes but I doubt they sell just the cart.

Have you ever thought of building a base out of angle iron and then welding/bolting some cheap harbor freight wheels to it.   I have done that in the past, I liked it cause the base was removable when I took the UDS to a remote location.

yea that has crossed my mind, but for home im looking for work space and move ability, if i need to take it somewhere remote ill just leave the table behind

lol at this thread....I am in the process of building a table that fits around the UDS...it will be similar to the pis posted.  I will post pics when I am done.  it might take a while as I dont' have much free time....

I just had a guy at work weld up a cart exactly like that out of some scrap material.
