I've read nothing but great stuff about the hunsaker.

Uds kit looks like a mock gateway. I'm an idiot so those exhaust tubes make think they do something magical....

Are there any other kits that I should look at? Or should I think about saving up more and getting the actual smoker? My plan was get a kit and a griddle. Or I could go all in for a great drum smoker.

I guess one thing to add. I am a fan of hot and fast, if I can get a smoker to 500 that's a win.

That stuff looks expensive.
The purpose of the UDS was to build a great smoker on a small budget and have fun creating it.

If you are thinking of investing that much money, personally, I would save my money and buy a nice pellet smoker.
