It has been a little while since I've had time to smoke anything so I figured this Christmas I'll smoke 2 turkey breasts and hopefully get a little different flavor from both. This will also be the first time I brine so hopefully they turn out allright. I'm planning on using the slaughterhouse brine adding Cherry Juice to one, and cranberry juice to the other. I'll be using two spritzs, one with sailor jerry and cherry juice, the other with Jerry and cranberry. about half way into the smoke I'm planning on wrapping the cranberry turkey in bacon to finish it off. I'll also inject them both with a similar injection plus add a few of the fruits into the cavities...These sound good in my head, hopefully they turn out allright.
One question: Should I inject them and brine them at the same time (I'll probably brine them for about 12 hours starting Christmas eve)?
Any advice or comments are defiently welcome, I'm feeding about 11 people on christmas.
