Greetings all.
I've had my mind set on adding a pellet grill/smoker to the stable, most likely a Blaz'n Grill Works Grid Iron (or Grand Slam). I already have a Big Green Egg, Smokin' It #1, modified vertical propane smoker and Weber Genesis S-310 on my patio and am aware of the strengths and weaknesses of pellet grills.
My question is, what's your overall opinion on the importance of twin-wall construction? I live in central Indiana, where winter temperatures can plummet and it's often quite windy. I'm leaning towards the Blaz'n Grill Works Grid Iron because of it's twin-wall construction to overcome these obstacles. I'm aware of the other players in the pellet game (Rec-Tec, Yoder, Memphis, MAK, etc,) and am looking to keep it all under $2k (with extra grates, cover, lid insulator, possibly competition cart, freight).
