I stole this from a SoFlaQuer Posting
"Therefore, I am getting with TulsaJeff and increasing the "Recent Topics" scroller to allow 20 new posted topics, instead of the current 10. This should keep fairly new posts from getting buried by Roll Call."

OK just where is this Recent Topics scroller? I'm having a spot of trouble negotiating the site at times. I can never find the last posts I was looking at, or find responses to posts I've left the day before either. When I first open the site there are many recent posts listed but if I have to actually do some work and close out then open later, there are only five or ten showing.

Ive tried a Search under my name to find what I was looking at the day before but that doesn't always work either....

Obviously I'm missing something and I just hope I can find the response to this question I'm posting now, should there be one.

You should set up your preferences under "User CP" at the top of this page to receive an email notification letting you know a topic you commented on has been replied to or you can click on "Thread Tools" at the top of this page and choose to be notified when a topic has been replied too.

For your last post you can click on your user id and one of the choices is to view all posts by that member.

Hey thats kewl Mossy I didn't know that. I'm going to try it!

Okay I'm lost! I don't see thread tools ... but it says I have 3575 subscriptions? What a subscription anyway?

Dang! How'd I do that? No wonder I'm always buried in posts!

Where is the User Id?

Jim after changing to the new layout there isn't a scroller any more. You have to use the New Posts link in the the blue bar or use the SMF - Smoking Meat Forums link to find the posts.. along with the afore mentioned methods of notification you should be able to find anything that is available.
