Troubleshooting a ceiling fan

Like @chopsaw said, check all gfci thru out the house.
Brother had no power out to patio. Found out it was a gfci tripped in the bathroom that is never used.
Im with this idea. Someone put a GFCI in the garage and when it trips 90% of the garage goes dark.🤦‍♂️
 
Was at a new house 2 years ago and every breaker in it was a GFI , fridge was tripping it, can't stop it and not supposed to be on a circuit with 1,

One more tip... if you never turn them off you don't know they are dusty! If you want to dust them, reverse the air flow... best done when wife is not there... there is a " look " you'll get!
