They definitely burn very fast, I just threw them in my "pie plate" and I got a bunch of smoke but then it didn't last long. The bag suggested putting them in a tin foil pouch to control the smoke and also makes them last longer. I will try again with that because I have a bunch of different flavors to try/

maybe the foil will work better for pellets.

i will be paying attention and waiting for the results of foil pouch.

what kind of pelletd do you have???

I actually just bought a number of bags, I used orange for a salmon, I also have cherry, apple, jack daniels, and alder.

The flavor was good, but kind of a "falsh in the pan"
