Sue wanted to make a casserole with some tortellini and smoked turkey breast so I suggested we do it in the CI pans.

We prepped the 3 cheese tortellini, broccoli, shredded the mozzarella, scratch made the alfredo sauce, and sliced the smoked turkey breasts tenderloins (these were left over from a cook last week and frozen).

Here are the players ready to go into the pans.

Layer number one, sauce down then add 1/2 of pasta, broccoli, and turkey.
Added the mozzarella after the pic, didn't want to cover up all the food.

Here it is with the rest of the fixin's added and ready to go on the grill.

After 30 minutes @350 indirect heat in the Weber Genesis with the lid closed.

Now the money shot!

Plated up and ready to chow down....

We ate 1/2 for dinner and the rest for lunch the next day.

It was delicious!

Thanks for lookin'

That's a beautiful dish John, Like! Something about the combo of turkey, broc, mozz, and alfredo sauce that would really seem to work to me. I'll give this one a try with chicken soon, I just about never cook any turkey. RAY

What a great meal John!! I bookmarked this to add to the never ending list.

Also sorry I’m late to the party, but CI retains heat very well, are they still warm for me to eat!?
