So, I've been absent for a couple weeks, not that y'all missed me

.

Still, over the fourth weekend, my girlfriend (living together five years--no ring just yet!) told me I was spending way too much time on the forum--she got mad at me when I came to post q-view when we had guests over, but you gotta get the q-voew up, right? Beyond ditchin' the woman I love (and I do love her so!), do you all get some inquiries from significant others wondering what the "H E double hockey sticks" you're doing when you come here? Just how do you explain to someone just how important smoking good meat is along with keeping track of what's going on here on the forum with all you fine folks across the great US of A? It's not like I have some internet girlfriend. I'm hooked on smoking, and here's where I come to feed my habit. What say you all????

As long as I produce quality Q and show my wife all the QView she doesn't say a word.
At work it has almost become part of my job requirements to be on here at least once a day since I smoked a brisket for an "office party" a couple weeks ago. Heck, I even got half a day off the day before to smoke it.

Momma kinda grumbles from time ta time, I tell her, well I can be sittin here wheres we can chat we each other whilst I'm on the forum, er I could be down ta the lodge drinkin beer an smokin with the boys, which would yall rather be? Still here ain't I! Then I feeds her some smoked goodies an all is well.

steve, I know what you mean dude... my wife acts almost as if the smf is " the other women" or something.

Call it a "collection".
Got alot of replies on the pic. Figured I'd try to change it every week just to make it alittle more interesting than seeing it over and over.

Well when I had desk top puter my wife called me the back of the head guy. So when I came home i had to walk thru the door backwards so the wif eknew I was home. So she broke down and bought me a lap top so I can sit in the living room with her printing out recipes for her to try. Now we all happy I cook and she eats. So she cannot divorce me cause she thinks she will starve now.

As I sit here the wifey has been out twice now .."ARE YOU COMING TO BED TONIGHT OR MAKE LOVE TO THE COMPUTER ALL NIGHT" She'll be alright this weekend ..Cooking a Butt and a couple of fatties for the throwdown..She only gets mad during the week but i'm the hero on the weekend

My wife says since I found this forum I'm "obsessed"! I asked her which was worse- on-line p**n or Atomic Buffalo Turds. She had to think about that one for a minute. Maybe I used a bad example! LOL
