Thanks to the advice and hints from fellow members I finely got my gas smoker to put out smoke even at the lowest setting.

Problem is I now get too much smoke no matter what I use.  Dry or wet chips, dry or wet chunks, A-Maz-N Smoker models, dust, pellets and tube smoker.

Any ideas?

Try moving the chip pan farther away from the heat... use less wood....  don't know for sure....  if using chunks, try one chunk.... Smoke generating in different smokers, requires different techniques....  I guess I danced around that answer pretty good.... Sorry.....  Dave

Dance you say, sounds like you are singing at a hoe down.

Just kidding and thanks for the help.  We got rid of our stick burners years ago and been using pellet smokers so we got use to the mild smoke.

I saw your other thread with pics where you had the Tube laying in a pan set on top of your chip pan. I wonder if it is getting too hot and burning the pellets too fast. I saw someone else lust lay the tube on the bottom all the way to one side.

Just a thought!

Thanks I will give that a try because I sure like the ease of using Todd's Smoking Tube.

I saw where someone sit the tube with the open end cock up so the tube is one a angle.

Trying that right now.

Good Luck! Let us know how it works out, I know Todd and everybody else want's to know the best way to make the Tube work!

The tube works great but I am just getting too much smoke for my bride and I.

So, looking for a way to cut back on the smoke.  I think most would like the quantity and quality of smoke produced.

BTW, family like the more smoke.
