I put in the general section as I could not decide if it falls under the veggies or sausage sections. Acorn squash cut in half & gutted. A sprinkle of garlic powder, coarse pepper, & paprika. A little cheddar cheese and a 1/4lb ball of sausage in each half. A little more cheddar cheese and a slice of onion on top with another sprinkle of coarse pepper. In the smoker at 200 for 5.5 hours. 165 internal temp. It was goooooood!!!
Before and after.

looks good hog.......i guess.....ololol..........not much of a squash fan, but kudo's for the smoke.......btw, what ARE those other things in the finished pic?

JL that does look good. I love squash! Can't wait till the co-workers start bringing some to work. Are those smoked eggs with them?

hmmmmm..........never heard of em being done in the shell. I always hard boil em, de-shell, THEN smoke..........but i also COLD smoke em........

Pray tell, how do they turn out?

I hate it when I get my question answered before I even get done typing!
Gotta try using more then 2 fingers.

The eggs turn out fine. Couples hours and they are like hard boiled. As long as I have the smoker fired up I always throw a batch of eggs in.
