To Calibrate or Not

My WSM is officially off by ~30f so I am replacing it. My question is whether it's worth the extra expense to get one I can calibrate? If you had to replace yours, what did you get? 

I am thinking of either this:

or is the DozyAnt at a respectible 12 bux the way to go?

30 degrees isn't bad.  After time, mine was off by 80-100F. 

I picked up the River Country 2" adjustable thermometer.  Using a 9/16" drill bit on both the housing and the lid, it will fit in the existing WSM therm housing.  The RC therm is VERY accurate.  I haven't needed to adjust it at all.  It matches my Guru exactly at the grate.  $15 at Amazon.

Ray is right on. I have River Country therms on all of my equipment. Testing shows them to be within 2* and they have all stayed that way for the last two years. However, they are adjustable and much more economical than the tel-tru.
