Flurries on the way to Fort Drum yesterday. 25f this morning but sunny.

Been nice here for the last 2 days but freezing at night. Last week we had a day and night that was plus 13C then the next day below 0 again, wierd weather for sure. But summer is coming , the birds are singing it everymorning now.

Well this morning it is -2 cel.

So we could still get some anytime , but at least it will not hang around.

That was like around here 2 weeks ago.

Now not even enough for a snowball...... maybe in the woods there is more .

Looks like spring is arriving in the north land.
River has already crested and fallen from the snow melt runoff.

Eventually it just ends all together ...

I just mowed for the third time yesterday. Everything is an explosion of green. Still a chance of frost and too early for gardening but Spring has arrived in Indiana.....

Snowed this afternoon and an inch stuck on the deck. Weather folks are saying we could have 4-6" accumulate between May 1 and May 6.

Well 99% of the snow piles are gone but now we are faced with flooding. Rivers and creeks are over flowing and more rain for the next few days. Lots of wash outs on country roads.
This a dam that was made many years ago in town. It produced electricity for the trolly cars that ran our bus service for years. It is no longer used for power but holds water for the man made lake that serves as a recreation spot. Not often do you see all the shuts flowing with that much water. At night they have neon lights across the dam. Looks pretty at night.

Ours just finally just opened up last week.....



Now if it would warm up I could put the 40 feet of dock in. ( in my spare time of coarse )
