Tired of Winter

This weather better improve. Our first camping trip is about two weeks away!

I was talking to a couple friens of mine the other day and they are at 2 different campgrounds as permanent , but they both take their trailers home. They might not be able to take their trailers in when the camping starts this year ( May 15th ) as the fields are so wet still where they have to drive in to get to their sites, all the rain and snow this winter, really no drying time for them yet, unless we get lots of sun for the next couple weeks.

Well since we are all sharing knee issues...I do believe David needs a couple new fishing reels as well! :emoji_blush:

Like Sreve, sunny and in the 70s yesterday. Took a ride on the 4 wheeler around the perimeter of my fields. Couple of large trees down that will have to be cut up. Farmer who leases it from me does that. He's putting in some corn this year. Bought garlic bulbs, horse radish root and seed potatoes thought spring was finally here, didn't believe the weather reports, but you. Snow. More tomorrow night.

Please make it stop.

Getting to old for this!

We're lucky there. It is already on site. We've canceled all trips with the class A for now. Gas is getting steep. We'll do a few short trips with it.

LOL, Thanks Ryan. I am trying to keep Steve's hooks out of me to pick up new fishing gear.

I do have a couple new reels and rod that I can't wait to get out on the salt to catch some supper this summer. I did just get my scallop licence for this year , so that should be fun also.
the coild water will not be great for my knees but we will see.

When we were camping and seasonals, I would leave our trailer there and just go down a couple times during the winter to make sure no big loads of snow on the roof ( or trees ).
I never liked towing trailers, so always parked and left. That way when the season opened everything except fo food and drinks needed to be taken down with us. But we always seeded to have a load in the truck every trip there, lol

After this year. That would be all we'd need to do. But this being the first time out. I rented a U-Haul trailer. We have a lot of stuff to get taken out there.

Oh yeah! We were planning on putting up two sheds. The party shed first. Since we found a dirt cheap place to store the golf cart. The bigger shed isn't a high priority. That might wait until next season. And this site has a 12x50 cement patio. So, I'm still mulling over a wood deck behind the camper.

I know , we have to make it comfortable. LOL
I always tried to have a 2 side of the trailer deck because of winds for cooking or at least a wall on the deck to cut down on the winds some time. and just make it more homey.

Snow (flakes primarily) today. Better warm up soon--'summer' car comes out of storage May 1.

USED to be Apr 1 (10 years ago) but what with climate change it's staying colder every spring, our seasons are really getting messed up.

Had a few flakes last night, just enough i could tell it snowed but the wind the last couple of days is terrible. To think 3 days ago I was on my deck getting a tan with my shirt off.

Our migration north gets later every year.

This was the last of the snow from this season in the yard Sunday morning
