Had a couple days of +18oC earlier but this am was

-11 and with the wind -20C

so ya, totally done with this season

We need like ten feet of snowfall to reach the average level. This summer is gonna be a real bad fire situation.

Same with us. Snow pack right now is 65% of normal, and incoming rain is going to melt a lot of that early.

Yeah, March is always like this. You think winter is over when the temps get into the 60's and 70's and next day it snows and the temps are in the teens and 20's. A couple of my neighbors had Tulips bloom last week and they're dead now.
Old Man Winter always hangs on by his teeth 'til the bitter end....

Yes we got hit the other day ( Sunday... Monday ) with another 5 inches.
But rain next few , so most except for the big piles should be gone soon.

How different it is in different locations.... We never had a winter. Yeah.... right here in Colorado.... I sure do hope we have a lot of rain in May, June, July and August.... or it could be a nasty, nasty fire year.

I live at nearly 8,000 feet elevation and right now, at 2pm..... It is 73 degrees.

90 on Thursday . 35 on Friday . I think it was in the mid 40's today , supposed to be 80's tomorrow . What the heck .

Yes same here for the last week, One day neer 18 deg C , snow the next day , rain the day after that.
Now Friday Sat and Sun minus 10C +/- each day but sunny.
Sunny and 0 C and by noon today . So shorts and T shirt, and cooking pork chops on the Q for supper, lol

Since the blizzard we've pretty much had a stable Spring. We've had some temp swings but nothing insane like others have had. But yeah I'm ready to move on from Winter especially after seeing 43" of snow on the ground.

Foggy morning, Hoar frost on the trees. Looks pretty. Around 30-32 F this morning. Still tons of snow in the bush. Should help out with fire season.

I remember coming down from the hills in PA a few years ago. And the trees were coated with hoar frost. And with the sun reflecting on it. It looked like something from a fairy tale.

80F last Thursday. 30s & 40s Friday and Saturday. 40 now but it's supposed to get into the 70s this afternoon. My arthritis doesn't know how to act. Trees are blossoming. So are dandelions.
Looks like I'll have to start mowing next week :(
