This year, I bought a new house on the water and been having issues with my smoker. It usually keep it around 200-250 but since the move it has been getting to 350 or higher. I suspect it is the wind feeding the flame. I moved it behind house but the wind is still impacting it. Any tips on how to keep it low?

Is there anywhere you can put it that the wind wont affect it that bad like in the entrance to the garage with the door open? Also would closing the intake vents a little more than your used to help with the problem? Don't know just tossing out a couple ideas there.

Build that wall.

A wind break made of plywood(or something similar) should help.

Yep if you don't want to use plywood for a wall enclosure, you could always go the paver route at home depot or lowes. They have some stylish retaining wall type pavers that would work and still look good.
