Time for another rack of baby back ribs.

There's a lot of good football games on today. So about 1:15 pm mountain time I think I'll start the smoker so I can eat about 6 pm.

Rinsed. Membrane removed the back. Spritzed with a water bottle. Lightly coated with kosher salt and some water spritz on top for added moisture.

Looks darn good 👍. If memory serves, ive tried that rub and it was quite salty hopefully not to bad for yours.
Didn't taste the salt. But it had some chili powder in there. It was good, but I don't think I'd use it again on ribs. I don't like spicy bbq too much.

Ribs look great! I hear you on the spicy, I like a little but not to much. Great color on those!

Ribs sure look good!
I wonder if Byron has changed recipes.
I used it quite a bit about 20 years ago. Back then it was Very salty although I don't remember it being all that spicy.
It was designed as a butt rub so you can expect it to have more salt because of the size and volume of a butt. Back in the day if I had used that much on ribs they would have been inedible.
