Tiger sauce and Slap To Mama

I was at Wal-Mart last night looking for cure #2, never found it, but I saw they had Tiger sauce and Slap To Mama seasoning. Heard them talked about on here alot. Is Tiger sauce much different than regular hot sauce? How does SYM compare to Tony Cs? Just curious, I use a lot of the other two. Also, where the heck do you find cure #2?

I just used Tiger sauce on my Calamari. Tiger sauce not hot but really good flavor. Its great poured over cream cheese with cracker. Its really not like hot sauce. Do your self a favor and try. You will uses for it.

Been using Tony's and Tiger sauce for 20+ years. Tiger sauce is one of my flavor layers on my ribs. Hot out of the bottle but when used as a marinade or meat glaze it is not. In my view, Tony's is much better than Slap YO Mamma. That is all I will use. Hope this helps.

So just to be clear:
The Cajun-type spice/sauce is “Slap Ya Momma”, the Harry Soo bbq team/merch is “Slap Yo Daddy”, and “Slap Yo Momma” is an expression, but not a trademark?

Try a butcher shop that makes their own dry cured meats. They may sell you some.
Cure #2 is a specialty item, I have a butcher shop locally I get all my supplies from.

I know everyone outside of Louisiana likes Tony's and Slap Yo Momma, but these are the ones that are the best advertised. I'll use them when it's all I got, but there are others that IMO are better. CajunGrocer.com carries a bunch of 'em. My favorite commercially produced Cajun seasoning blend is this one:

You can try a Mennonite store, if you have any, for Cure#1, Cure#2 and Tender Quick.
