Seeing the BS coming from some politicians I can actully see this to be true but I hope for my southern neighbours they have a better choice then this guy. 
NORTHERN MICHIGAN — Congressman Jack Bergman is demanding answers from Canada after a recent visit to Northern Michigan revealed what he described as an “alarming number of foreign birds” occupying local beaches, parks, and golf courses.
Bergman, who represents Michigan’s 1st Congressional District while maintaining his primary residence in Louisiana, reportedly became concerned after encountering several Canada geese during his visit.
Local residents expressed confusion over the sudden outrage, pointing out that Canada geese have inhabited Northern Michigan for centuries—a detail critics suggest Bergman might have noticed sooner had he spent more time in the district than in the Deep South.
“First they sent us the wildfire smoke. Now they’re sending their geese,” Bergman said, pretending to care because it's an election year. “I’m upset for the people of Michigan. Canada has released its cobra chickens into our communities, and they are pooping all over our beautiful beaches. We simply don’t have this Canadian goose problem at my home in Louisiana, and frankly, the people of Northern Michigan shouldn’t have to live like this either.”
The congressman said he plans to speak with President Donald Trump immediately and is considering several options to address the growing foreign-bird crisis, including tariffs. “We are looking very strongly at a 25% tariff on all Canadian geese entering the United States,” Bergman said. “Possibly higher if they continue pooping.”
It remains unclear how the tariff would be collected, although officials are reportedly considering tiny toll booths along the shoreline of Lake Superior. Canada has not responded to the allegations, and several geese approached for comment hissed at reporters and refused to disclose their citizenship.
