Well, here are some of the pellet smokers you can consider:

Camp Chef PG24DLX Deluxe Pellet Grill and Smoker

This deluxe pellet grill and smoker is considered to be the best among the latest pellet grills due to its advanced features and outstanding functionality. It comes with an advanced digital control that simplifies operating the unit even if you are not a pro at this.

Z Grills 2018 ZPG-700E Wood Pellet Grill

It is cheap and despite the cost, it is no less in features. The best part is that it is not solely dedicated to grilling and smoking, but it allows for roasting, searing, and braising as well.

Several other features contribute to its ease of use, like it has automatic electronic ignition, meaning you don’t have to light the fire manually. It also comes with an LED readout, easing temperature monitoring. Moreover, since it comes with wheels, it offers convenience in face of portability.

Green Mountain Grills Davy Crockett Pellet Grill

This Crockett pellet grill is known to be an advanced smoker because it can be operated through Wi-Fi, giving an innovative way for function control. It allows configuring the smoker using a suitable app in your Apple or Android smartphone, making it easier to remotely control the temperature between 150 and 550 degree Fahrenheit.

Not only that, but you can also set the timer, keep a check on the meat, and get push notifications on the status of meat with the app.

I have had a GMG Crockett for three months. Zero problems. I thought the WiFi was a gimmick until I used it. It's actually handy for changing the temp and watching the meat temp. I have used it about a dozen times, tri-tip, beef ribs, ribeyes, salmon, chicken and even tried cheese.

I was not happy at first until I talked to a lady at The Grillin' Shop. She said it's a great unit, one of the best made. The problem was me. I was cooking too hot and using crappy pellets. I tried Traeger at Depot and Pit Boss at Lowe's. Very little smoke flavor on the meat. She sold me Lumberjack Oak. No blends just wood. Food is much better now.

I was apprehensive to buy a pellet grill after reading the many tales of "not smoky enough" and felt that myself at first. After speaking to the expert and correcting my errors, I am very happy with it.
