Ok, this is weird, but I like the idea of putting chicken thighs in mini loaf pans to get them into a more uniform shape.

I used some disposable loaf pans to double up on them and i also managed to find a wilton 6 loaf mini loaf pan to cook in. These worked great. However, 6 isn't going to cut it. When I cook thighs, I cook about 20 or so for meal prep.

So...on Amazon, I see things like:

(as an aside, that URL is terrible...)

But before I spend the money on that, and granted it's not much, I'm putting the question out there: Does anyone else do this? What do you use for a larger, higher quantity, pan?

Thanks,

Kurt

It worked, and if it fit's in your smoker it should do what you want. It has good reviews.

I'm sure it'll fit...not worried about that. I'm more worried about whether it's big enough for chicken thighs. :)

No link or image visible for me:(

If I remember correctly Jeff uses muffin tins for some of his recipes so as long as its close in size it should work.

Well, interesting idea.
And you could also add seasonings so they would cook onto your thighs.
My wife has been getting these Silicone bake ware, and she seems to like them a lot.
When looking at your link, I found these below: Zenware 12 cup Silicone mini-loaf pans.
But however many racks your smoker has, that's you numbah of pans. ;)
