We bought a place on Lake Ozark so the kids will stay close…the sellers left us their Blackstone!

Made smash sausage annd eggs on it this morning. Biscuits were canned/oven cooked. Need to learn more about this big griddle!

Would appreciate some recipes to try…it cooks fast! Even on low heat

Good lookin place bud . Things have really changed since the days of daylighting the drains into the lake . Been a long time since I've been down there .

You'll get used to that Blackstone . You can get it heated up with all burners on , then shut some down for cooking . Have 2 different zones that way .
Get yourself a lid / dome , and some squeeze bottles for water and oil .

Great pointers…lid/dome and squeeze bottles!

lid/dome and squeeze bottles!
My basic line up for the flat top . That spatula on the right is a beast .
Heavy , ridgid and sharp . The other two are flexible .

If I do brats , I set it up for a hot side and a warm side . Get color
on them , then move to the warm side , squirt some water on them, and cover with the dome so they steam through .

We love using our griddle out camping. Reuben's, grilled cheese for the kids, bacon and eggers or sausage and egg on biscuits sandwiches, smashburgers, steaks, pork chops, burrito's, camp nachos, stir fry and a few other things I can't think of right now.

The Waltwins have a lot of videos and recipe ideas on youtube.

Get some frozen hash brown patties at Walmart. Put down some Bacon-up and cook them. Use bacon bits (I make my own) and after the hash browns are done put bacon and shredded cheese on them. Shut off the burners and cover with a dome for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
That my friend is some good eats.
