Many of us use the Maverick ET 73 with good results

Mavericks are what most people here use...just punch it in to any search engine and you will find 2 diffirent kinds to choose from. One does food w/both probes the other does food/smoker temps

Now there are only one thermo-meter that has a dual probe and thats the Maverick ET-73 but I own a small handful of thermo's. I have some from wally world and a couple from Bed Bath & Beyond and I even have a Maverick ET-72 with one probe and I think it's the least accurite of all. The main thing that you could do is test your thermometers and do it alot. It doesn't take alot of time just boil water and stick them in it one at a time. They should read 212° but make sure not to let the probe touch the pan anywhere.
