Thermometer for a Weber

Has anybody modified their Weber kettle style grill by adding a thermometer to it?

I've read of many that have done it. I personally don't have a kettle grill.............yet

Have you been over at the The Virtual Weber Bullet? Lots of Weber info there.

I don't have a Weber either but I am planning to purchase one soon to accompany my Brinkmann SNP.

I just put my digital in the vent for a quick check.

The way mine gets handled the thermo wouldnt hold up well....

I've been there, I knew a guy that raised pitbull dogs that was from Pekin.

South Peoria has got to have a supplier from somewhere for pitbulls so I guess Pekin is accepting the challenge. LMAO

How did we get on Pit Bulls?

I have a Weber thermometer in the cover of my grill and it works just fine. You can pick up one at any Home Depot or Lowe's..........or you can call Weger direct. They will be glad to send you one.

I have a bag of corks I use in the vent hole, (1st drill a small hole for the stem) either for probes or I use my weber gas thermometer because it has a long stem.

Works great.
