Well, got my therms. together and did the calibrations in boiling water. The Maverick was 214*f on both the grate and the food probes,I'm happy there and can do adjustments on my other Pit therms. when I do a cook

Yeah, hear ya on the prices.....was just at the el cheapo market I go to and butts were 2.29 a pound..used to be 99 cents. Saw Costco had those pork crown roasts again at 3.29 a pound....average price 23 bucks for one....but for a dollar more a pound they sure are tasty outta the smoker.
 
Yea, went to Sam's yesterday to get supplies for the S. FL gathering. I have never seen such high prices! Oh well! Just have to work a few more hours.
