Just a shout out to my friend Zwiller...

I posted a thread looking for a good midwest style trail balogna a little while back. The topic came around to the type made in Trail, Ohio. Zwiller pm'ed me and offered to send me some to sample since I have never had it. I look forward to trying it so I can reverse engineer the spice profile and at least know what I am shooting for when I make a batch for my friend in Kansas. Oh- and he also sent me some mustard and cheese too!! Much appreciated Zwiller!!!

The connections made are very cool indeed. As far as the troyers ring bologna, its all over the place around here and in Kentucky. It's delicious. We have a large Amish population and stores are plentiful. Troyers has other good meats, jerky and snack sticks as well

LOL Totally botched the Stadium Mustard!!! We do NOT see Bertman's here typically and usually Stadium brand. Grabbed that so fast I didn't realize it wasn't the mustard. My bad.

LOL Totally botched the Stadium Mustard!!! We do NOT see Bertman's here typically and usually Stadium brand. Grabbed that so fast I didn't realize it wasn't the mustard. My bad.

It won't go to waste here . I did put it in the pantry with my last bottle of Stadium mustard though . Maybe I should move it before a fight breaks out .

I do appreciate your contributions to the pineapple sasuage thread as well as all your insights into German sausage making. No worries on the horseradish, won't go wasted here...I'll use it next smoked roast beef I do. I'll be sure to post up a thread when I make the trail balogna. Thanks again!

I get the mustard online . Comes out of Illinois . Not sure about the chili packets . I'll have to look . They might sell it .
A guy I worked with used to follow the Cardinals around to away games . Came home from a Cards - Reds
game with some of the Stadium mustard . Then we used to order it and divide it up . Great mustard .
