Well, with the help of many post on this forum, pop's directions and help. Here it is. After seeing all the great craftmanship on smoker builds. I just wasn't going to post any photos. But what the heck it works. I told the wife we now have an outside smoker, she says looks like a smoking outhouse. CF

Another thought would be a peck basket of corn cobs and a dog eared stack of hunting and fishing magazines...

Well the burner I had just could not keep up the heat. Took Pop's advice and bought the big burner.

Worked wonders.

My smoker is 3' x 3' x 6' Made from 1/2" plywood. This is the temp test from the new burner.

Pop’s large Burner

Both air vent open: Top and Bottom

Center Burner only, Smoker temp. Max. 150°    Max. Gas Open        

Center Burner off:

½ of the big burner on, Smoker temp. Max. 165° Max. Gas Open

Both sides of Big Burner on, Smoker temp. Max. 220° Max. Gas Open

All Burners on, Smoker temp. Max. 255° Max. Gas Open

Turned off at 255°

This is the air vents I am using. One in the front, one in the back top.
