The On Going Saga Of Tweety Bird W/Qview

It's official, I knew it would happen any day now with Carol not working and leaving the patio door open all day for the dogs, er kids I meant to say, along with the damned flys.



This morning while reading the forum he was hanging around the patio door looking in.



I had to snap fast.



Almost in but not quite.



And again. This happened many times. When I got home tonight I was told we had a visitor today. I knew right away who she meant.



She was busy cleaning the kitchen cabinets when Jackpot started barking and looking upstairs, and this is what she saw. Good thing the fan was off, lol. I hadn't noticed that vent came down as I don't go up there much, that will be a quick fix.


He then decided to take a tour and went to the other loft. He is right in the middle of the window enjoying the view.



He decided to look at the other view. By now I think he was in need of a shower.




Here he is perched on the shower door on the green wiper that I was using yesterday to wipe down the counter, looks like he likes it.

At that point Carol got him and carried him out for some play time with his friends. He has been hovering all night now.

It's official, I named him Tweety Bird.

Hi Ron, Some of your pictures are not showing up, the ones from http://pictures.sprintpcs.com/.

The ones hosted at photobucket are working okay.

SmokenDave has a problem with some of his which are not hosted at photobucket showing up also.

I wonder if it has something to do with the site only allowing certain pic hosts?

Hmm, I previewed this post many times and they are there, and are now.
Sometimes when pics don't show, I right click on the x and chooses show pic, have you tried that?

That guy just wants nothing more than to hang out with you guys it seems like.
Maybe he smells when you smoke some poultry and wants a taste...twisted but maybe. Hell, if I were a bird and flew by your place I would want to stop in and get a whiff of some of that smoked goodness, that or he know one of the birds you fired up...

Well, he came in for a short visit today. Came in and went just opposite, once in, and looked out the kitchen window towards his feeder and left on his own.

Thats too cool ron and thats a crazy humming bird. We have 3 that are hanging out in our back porch/outdoor kitchen there really neat to watch but not as brave as yours. they have got close to us even have came and hung out with us while I was cooking on the grill. The pictures are really good on this end. Keep it up

Well it finally happened. Tweety came in and hovered right over Carol while she was on the laptop in the kitchen, stayed about 30 seconds and flew right out. About 24 ' from her face.

Almost had a catastrophe today. Tweety flew in and flew right into the big window in the front room and knocked himself out and fell down to the couch and right on Jackpot. He then got his foot tangled in a tassle on the pillow and Carol had to get it out.




Waking up.



Luckie was there too, sleeping and woke up and was ready to attack him, good thing Carol was there to rescue the little guy.

Took him to the back door and away he went.

I just notice the date stamp on my camera is wrong, better fix that, hmmm.
