About a blood clotting agent made from crab shell that can be used in first aid to stop bleeding, even femoral artery bleeding. Sounds like an amazing product.
Another magic as seen on TV cure all?
For a femoral artery bleed a tourniquet is your only immediate defense.
Son is Army Combat Medic and tourniquet is top of the kit.
I would think the magic powder is better for superficial heavy bleeders such as scalp. Generally pressure is the easiest for the superficial.
Interesting! My wife's great uncle cut his femoral artery, several years ago...he also didn't have much blood left by the time his son drove him 15 miles to the hospital!
Suddenly I have a fever for the flavor of a pringles!
