I have learned a lot on this forum..my wife hates my new hobbie. which I normally go waaaay over board when I do something.

I must say, as a female, there aren't a lot of other females in Southern California that I can hang and talk BBQ with. Mostly shopping, shoes and clothes. None of which I'm particularly interested in. And since none of them want me hanging with their husband's talking about BBQ :0-) It gets lonely BBQing alone. Although the family and friends have no problem coming over when it's done to eat it!! Although they don't want to hear me talk about it and certainly think I'm nuts when I stop them to take pictures of it.

So for me, it's really nice to log on, share pics, recipes, successes, failures and great times with everyone here. Doesn't matter if you're male or female, everyone is equal in the world of TBS. I love it here!! I have never felt so at home.
