Thanks David. Yeah, the butcher has always been very reliable but I'm guessing during the holiday rush things got a bit hectic and they missed cutting the bones. At least it wasn't difficult to remove them myself. Seeing how much weight I removed will order the next one sans bones.

As a strange sidebar...nice knife! My SIL sliced a rib roast Christmas day with a serrated bread knife🤦‍♂️. I almost died watching the atrocity unfold! My wife gets on me about giving advice, so I just watched in horror. I dont know about him...he think he knows everything, but knows nothing.
Appreciate you checking in David. Ooo! I know that type of person, can't tell them anything and usually they do some really dumb stuff. Slicing up a prime rib with a bread knife, it think that's illegal in this state! 😂
