BBQGODDESS ask for this recipe and this looks like the place to post it.

2lbs frozen shredded hash browns (thawed)
1/2 stick margarine (melted)
8 oz sour cream
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 chopped onion
8 oz shredded cheese
corn flakes

mix all ingredients except corn flakes together. you can add a small amount of milk if it needs thining. Just before you put it in the oven cover with the corn flakes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour

My good friends' kids call these "funeral potatoes" cause their mom always makes them to take to those occasions. We like em just fine whatever they're called.

Your post makes me laugh..... my wife makes a hamburger/noodle/ tomatoe hotdish I call "Funeral Hotdish" which my tastebuds do not really care for; anyways about once a year when I come home to find that is what is for dinner, I immediately ask "Who Died?" !!!
