I'm looking into getting a new smoker. I've searched the forum but couldn't find much info on these... if anyone has one owns or has used one please tell me your thoughts about them. Is it big enough ? Meat capacity? Likes dislikes.. thoughts in general .. also for 300 more I could get the pint....problem is I would have to get it basic.. no extra features or I could get the battle box with wheels and few other extras ...

Hi,
Ive owned my Battle Box for almost 2 years now and love it. The build quality is excellent which allows the smoker to hold temp up to 12 hours around 225 with a fully basket of coal. I will say though when on my first couple of cooks I was not using the water pan and my ribs got way to much smoke on them (very bitter). After using the cooker the way it was supposed to be used with a full pan of water in it the food gets a nice smoke ring and gorgeous color on it. Let me know if can answer any questions for you?

I've never even heard of them, so I looked one up on the net.
That's a pretty impressive smoker, kinda like a Stumps.
Looks like it would last you a lifetime!
