Probably going to be a lot of people smoking up some wings today, but wanted to show off my platter as well.
It’s been snowing all day here in the North East, but didn’t let that stop me from cooking up some good food for the big game.
Started marinating the Chicken Wings last night, just about 6lbs of them.
The marinade was:
Cup of Frank’s Red Hot
Cup of Zesty Italian Dressing
1/4 Cup Worcestershire
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
Salt/Pepper/Garlic to taste
Hit the wings this afternoon with my favorite rubs from the Killer Hogs line and smoked em up with Hickory and Cherry Wood on my WSM for about 1.5 hours at 275.
The turned out really good. Just the right level of heat and smoke!
I also made my own Blue Cheese Sauce which I really enjoyed as well. Never going back to ranch!
To go along with the Chicken Wings we also had Hot Dogs with my homemade meat sauce. For dessert we’re having crockpot Pecan Cinnamon Roll Casserole.
Last, but certainly not least...the refreshments!
Hope you all have a great Super Bowl night as well!
