Sundried Tomato Sourdough

I want to make a sundried tomato and parm boule. But...I cant find the dry tomatoes, I can only find the ones stored in oil and I fear these will be hard to incorporate into the dough. I was thinking maybe wipe them off and flour them??? Anyone ever made a sundried tomato SD? BGKYSmoker

any advice or experience with this is appreciated! TIA!

That's what I did with jarred olives when I made Olive loaf lunch meat . I used binder , but same idea .

I got the sun dried maters in the Deli department of the store . In with the dried fruits . Cranberry , blueberries and raisins .

Trader Joes seems to have stopped carrying them at the closest store (45 minutes away), but Amazon has the TJ sun dried, so they will be here Friday for a run at it.

I've purchased bread with dried tomatoes. Some were pretty good, while others were lipstick on a pig to dress a terrible boule with no bread flavor.
I'm hoping to make a batch of smoke dried tomatoes later this year. Those are game changers in recipes
