I love meals that take me back in time...smells, flavors. Reminders of good ol' days. Great job!
Thank you! And did it ever smell good in the house

Nice country style meal! You can keep the snow though
Thanks jake! You don't think the view off your porch would look good in white? Willing to share!

Ryan that meal has comfort written all over it! Your wife did it right! Very nice meal!
Thank you! She did good! Surprised I'm not fat, but the comfy pants sure came in handy afterwards

Good looking meal Ryan. The chicken looks great. It reminds me of Saturday dinners at my grandma's, the only difference was the chicken was in chunks with the broth and noodles. Brings back memories. LIKE!

Thank you! And thanks for the like. My wife's mom and grandma make something similar and it's every bit as good. I love to see recipes passed down from one generation to the next. It helps bring back memories

Ryan...apologies for being so late to the party. Being that Tracy is allergic to chicken and gets burnt out on turkey pretty quick, I don't spend much time in the Poultry forum.

Kudos to your wife for an excellent meal and to you for a beautiful presentation. Tracy may not be able to eat chicken but that's my kinda meal right there!! Just fantastic looking down-home comfort food. Great way to do honors to your grandmother's memory.

Thank you Robert, I appreciate it! And not to worry, I'm sure you were busy preparing another of your fabulous low key and simple meals! I'm just kidding, we are the same way...alot of ordinary meals that aren't worth posting. You do an awesome job with your cooks as well as your presentation. And if you didn't notice, you're not the only one getting pics of your feet!

Finally got around to showing this post and all your replies to my wife. She said "thank you very much for all the replies, it meant alot to her...almost made her cry"
