Local grocery had top round “London broil” on sale $2.99 lb so picked a couple of them up. Figured yesterday would be a great day to get them going.
Getting them prepped up for marinade.
Marinade and seasoning on and then into the fridge for a couple hours.
Got some tilapia ready for the wife. She’s not huge on London broil.
Making a little gravy for the broils. Kind of an experiment as I go kind of thing since I figured would be the only one eating it. Onions mushrooms jalapeños garlic au jus mix and a few other things.
Heat the grill up to 600 and seared these bad boys.
Put them on the top rack after the sear and pulled them at 120. We like rare-medium rare around here.
Fish on
Didn’t get any finished pics of the fish was ready to cut into those broils. Money shot.
Plated shot with garlic bread and baked potato covered with broccoli/cheese. Covered the meat and potato with the mushroom jalapeño gravy. I don’t think I’ve ever been so full in my life.
Too full for another beer so finished off with the good stuff.
Thanks for looking
