I had some wood seasoning that I planned on using for the summer.
Mostly cherry with some oak and maple.
I went and picked it up this morning. Hoping that should hold me over till fall.

Yea, I am thinking you need more.  You cook in the winter too???

I really need to get some cut for the gathering.   Its seasoning in the woods.   LOL

Really nice cherry. And, most of it looks like it could be split again.
Joe I will split a few, but most of them splits I just burn them that size.
Smoker really holds a steady temp. Usually within 10 degrees.

Adam I usually cook 1-2 times a week in the winter. I try an keep a cord of wood on hand for the winter use.
I have quite a bit of property I'm allowed to cut on. And try to keep ahead of my needs.

Looks like you got half of what you'll need.Thumbs Up
