I had some gift cards to use up so I purchased the 5 pound stuffer at cabelas. The smallest tube does not fit the LEM casings I had used with the commercial grinder I had been using to stuff my snack sticks. I am just curious if anyone here has modified the cabelas tube in order to use it for smaller snack sticks?  And will the SS 3/8 tube with a 1 and 9/16 base from one stop jerky shop work for this stuffer?  Thanks for the help!

I purchased my 1/2" tube from Ebay. Just measure the size of your tubes mounting end. 1 9/16" fits my 5 LB.Gander Mountain Guide series stuffer.

Weston has a bag with 4 or 5 tubes and varios adapter plates to fit all grinders and stuffers. The smallest is a 3/8 - 1/2" tube, reasonally priced fyi. once on their site look under meat grinder accesories.
